This month we have added an additional 17 new release items to our line up. This year we are excited to introduce the new Old Oak Hollow Treehouse range which includes a fantastic Treehouse that stands at approximately 2ft high. We also have the Applewood Department Store in stock this year and will be releasing a whole bunch of other shops and accessories to go with it. In September we hope to be bringing you the new Sylvanian beauty theme which includes Madeline's Boutique and the Beauty Salon. What are Sylvanian Families?

Sylvanian Families (usually sold as Calico Critters in the US & Canada) are a collectable range of miniature dolls ideal for children 4 years and older. The dolls stand between 2-4 inches tall and are made of high quality plastic covered in fur to resemble the different types of animals they are made to represent. Each of the dolls has moveable limbs and clothing that can be removed and re-fitted. Every year many new families and accessory items are released into the Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters range.

The key attraction for buyers, and especially collectors, of Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters is the high quality of manufacture and level of detail that goes into each item: not to mention the good old "cuteness" factor! The craftsmanship and design of the range sets it apart from most of the other alternatives that are available and the unique little animal families, each with their own story, give children hours of pleasure (and many grown-ups too!).

At any given time there are between 100 - 200 different items available to purchase from the Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters range, spoiling you for choice in deciding what types of houses, vehicles, furniture, shops, and many many other features you would like to add as you start to create your very own Sylvanian village.
